Full job descriptionTeqniq is searching for a Pension Fund Payroll Lead to work in the public sector.
37 hours per week.
3 month contract.

Job description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional who can ensure all work is delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in developing and improving payroll processes, maintaining robust systems, and supporting audit activities, while staying up to date with industry developments to drive efficiency and innovation.
They will be confident in coordinating team workloads, managing high-volume pension payrolls, ensuring HMRC compliance, and consistently meeting deadlines within a structured payroll cycle.
We’re seeking candidates with a degree or higher diploma in relevant profession, such as Payroll accounting, business or finance or equivalent experience/skills; and extensive experience of working with payroll systems.
Can be part time - minimum 50% FTE.
Around 50% in office: If you work 4 or 5 days = 2 days in office, if you work 3 or 2.5 days = 1 day in office.
