Leicester | Hybrid Working (2 days office)
£50,000 – £65,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 and Legal Top Tier firm in Leicester.
This is a rare chance to join a highly respected Employment team with a strong and growing focus on claimant work, alongside a proportion of respondent matters. The team is embedded within a forward-thinking, people-first firm that places real emphasis on quality of work, collaboration, and long-term development rather than billing targets.
You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team of five experienced employment lawyers, alongside dedicated support staff, all working within an outstanding team culture.
The firm is recognised as a Legal 500 leading practice for 2025 and 2026, with Top Tier recognition in Employment Law, reflecting the quality of work and expertise within the team.
The Role
This position offers a varied and engaging caseload, with a strong emphasis on claimant work, including:
*Advising employee (claimant) clients on a wide range of employment law matters
*Handling a proportion of respondent employer work
*Managing cases from instruction through to resolution
*Drafting documentation, advising on merits, and negotiating settlements
*Supporting clients through Employment Tribunal processes
*Building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality legal advice
About You
*Qualified Employment Solicitor
*Experience in either claimant, respondent, or mixed employment work
*Strong communication and client care skills
*A collaborative and team-focused approach
*Keen to develop within a supportive and high-quality Legal 500 environment
