Full job descriptionRobert Half is partnering with a well-known Bristol-based charity to recruit an interim management accountant for an initial six-month engagement.
*Up to £55k
*6 - 9 month FTC
*Immediate Start
*Hybrid working - Central Bristol
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring the smooth delivery of month-end reporting and providing reliable financial insight to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the nominal ledger
*Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
*Cash flow monitoring and reporting
*Producing financial reports for grant funding and restricted income
*Liaising with budget holders to provide financial support and challenge
About you:*Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
*Proven management accounts experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
*Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and hitting the ground running
