Full job descriptionMorgan Hunt currently requires a Maintenance Assistant/Handyperson for NHS based in West & East Sussex
Pay Rate: £18ph to 19ph Ltd - Depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hrs 8am to 4pm Mon to Fri
Location: West and East Sussex
Duration 6 months on going contract
Job description requirements
The candidate will be expected to undertake semi-skilled craft duties to enable effective installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of plant and equipment.
Carry out day to day maintenance and fault repairs and testing as instructed by the Mechanical and Electrical Manager (M and E Manager) and other skilled trades.
To apply a flexible attitude and approach to carrying out all assigned tasks.
The candidate must have good time management skills, be able to work alone or unsupervised when necessary and adhere to Health and Safety principles.
Qualification
Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification
Experience of basic engineering plant and equipment maintenance including lighting and power systems, portable appliances, domestic appliances, firefighting systems and other associated building services plant and equipment.
Basic Carpentry skills are also required.
