*Altrincham (Hybrid – 2 days from home)
*£30,000 – £35,000
We are supporting a well-established organisation in Altrincham with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities
*Processing high volumes of sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
*Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
*Managing customer queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
*Monitoring aged debt and supporting credit control activities to optimise cash collection
*Maintaining and updating customer account records within the finance system
*Assisting with the preparation of regular financial reports
*Supporting month-end processes including reconciliations and accruals
*Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc duties when required
Requirements
*Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
*Proficient Excel skills
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
*Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
