Description
This role will sit within a highly regarded Financial Services and Products team, supporting partners and fee earners on a broad range of regulatory and funds matters.
Key responsibilities include:
*Assisting with FCA regulatory applications, including authorisations and change in control
*Supporting with FCA notifications and ongoing compliance requirements
*Assisting with regulatory due diligence on corporate and banking transactions
*Reviewing and updating key fund documentation
*Coordinating advice from overseas counsel on cross-border matters
*Liaising with clients and maintaining strong working relationships
*Providing general support to fee earners on day-to-day matters
*Assisting with ad hoc administrative and project-based tasks
This role offers broad exposure to high-quality, complex work in a dynamic and fast-paced team.
Profile
The successful candidate will be academically strong, with a minimum 2:1 degree and solid foundational experience within financial services or a commercial law firm.
You will demonstrate:
*At least 1 year of paralegal experience in a law firm or financial services environment
*A strong interest in financial services regulation and funds
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
*The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
