Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an Assistant FP&A Accountant to join an Ipswich based business on a permanent basis.


This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
*Analyse financial performance and investigate variances.
*Maintain and update financial models, reports, and dashboards.
*Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
*Collaborate across the FP&A function to drive continuous improvement and best practice.


Key skills:
*Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
*Previous experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A support roles.
*Strong Excel skills with a keen interest in data.
*Strong analytical skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
