Full job descriptionHGV Class 2 Drivers – Long-Term Opportunity in Kirklees for a local authority.
We are looking for two experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a well-established team for a long-term position with a respected authority in Kirklees. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers seeking steady work with excellent hours and a supportive team environment.
Pay: £13.69 per hour. £14.21 per hour after 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles on scheduled routes
*Ensure timely and efficient deliveries
*Maintain accurate records of working hours
*Take a 30-minute break during each shift
*Drive automatic vehicles for a smooth and straightforward experience
Job Details:
*Hours: 06:45 – 17:00 (Once familiar with the routes, finishes may be even earlier)
*Days: Monday to Thursday (Optional additional work elsewhere on Fridays)
*Guaranteed Pay: 10 hours per day guaranteed pay, when you only work up to 8!
*Regulations: Domestic rules apply – no tachograph required
*Vehicle Type: Automatic
