We are actively seeking a Fixed Assets & Treasury Accountant for a well established company in Manchester city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:
*Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness and accuracy
*Calculate and post depreciation
*Review capital expenditure, ensuring correct approval
*Perform regular reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger
*Support the preparation of fixed asset disclosures for statutory accounts and audits
*Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity reporting
*Monitor bank accounts, including reconciliations and review of cash movements
*Prepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations relating to fixed assets and treasury
*Work closely with procurement, operations and project teams on capital projects

Our client is looking for a candidate who:
*Is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
*Has fixed asset accounting experience
*Has experience or an understanding of treasury
*Has strong Excel skills
