You’ll handle a broad and interesting caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion, while working in an environment that combines professional standards with a friendly team culture.
What you’ll be doing
Running your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
Dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new build matters
Speaking with clients in person, by phone and in writing
Providing clear, practical and responsive legal advice
Preparing and approving contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
Keeping files organised and maintained to a high professional standard
Managing your diary and handling enquiries and quotations efficiently
Building relationships with clients and contacts to support new business opportunities
Staying up to date with legal developments and maintaining competence in line with SRA requirements
What we’re looking for
A qualified solicitor with experience in residential property
Solid knowledge of conveyancing law and practice
Familiarity with CQS
Strong client care and communication skills
A confident, professional and approachable manner
The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
A keen eye for detail and the ability to review and advise on legal documents effectively
