Full job descriptionInterim Finance Manager
4–6 Month Initial Contract | Up to £65,000 Equivalent | Potential for Permanent Appointment.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified finance professional to join a well-established organisation on an interim basis. This role has been created to provide support while a permanent appointment is identified, recruited and on-boarded.
The initial contract is expected to last between 4 and 6 months. However, there is genuine potential for the position to become permanent for the right individual.


The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take responsibility for key financial reporting and compliance activities whilst managing a small finance team.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of statutory accounts
*Preparation of tax computations, VAT returns and CIS returns
*Management of month-end close processes
*Production of management and group reporting
*Oversight of the Fixed Asset Register and CAPEX files
*Management and development of the Financial Accountant and Finance Assistant
*Supporting the wider finance function to ensure accurate and timely financial information
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
*Be ACA or ACCA qualified
*Have trained within a professional practice environment
*Possess previous people management experience
*Demonstrate strong technical accounting and reporting skills
*Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Be available immediately or at short notice
