Our client, a leading consultancy in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:*Developing, maintaining and updating project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6
*Collaborating with project teams to ensure schedules are met and projects are delivered on time
*Conducting regular progress reviews and providing updates on project timelines
*Identifying potential schedule risks and developing mitigation plans
*Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
*Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
*Providing detailed reports and presentations on project status
Job Requirements:*Experience in planning within the defence or nuclear sectors
*Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6
*Strong team collaboration and communication skills
*Security clearance (SC) or having held SC previously
*Ability to work part-time, 2-3 days per week, in Derby
*Availability to start from June onwards
Contract Details:*6-month initial contract with potential for renewal
*Market rate - hourly, umbrella (Inside IR35)
