As Contracts Administrator, you will support the organisation’s contract management function, ensuring the effective administration of contractual relationships, procurement activity, and commercial agreements across the business.



You will play a key role in helping the organisation maximise commercial outcomes while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong organisational and relationship management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.



Working closely with internal operational teams, external partners, and finance colleagues, you will contribute to performance optimisation, support commercial negotiations, and ensure contracts are managed effectively in line with organisational objectives.



Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Negotiation

*Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with external partners and public/private sector bodies.
*Ensure contractual arrangements align with organisational objectives, commercial targets, and compliance standards.
*Prepare and complete contractual documentation, including tender submissions and associated materials.
*Maintain accurate and well-organised contract records and documentation.
*Resolve contractual queries and disputes efficiently, engaging relevant stakeholders where required.


Stakeholder Relationship Management

*Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external partners and key stakeholders.
*Act as a professional point of contact for contract and procurement-related matters.
*Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams to support operational and commercial objectives.
*Promote effective communication and partnership working across the organisation.


Procurement & Tender Management

*Set up, manage, and maintain tender and procurement systems/portals.
*Monitor procurement opportunities and support submissions aligned to business goals.
*Coordinate tender responses, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
*Support the organisation in securing new business opportunities and framework agreements.
Commercial Performance & Negotiation

*Support and lead periodic commercial negotiations with external partners.
*Demonstrate strong commercial awareness to support revenue optimisation and performance targets.
*Collaborate with operational and finance teams to deliver commercially sustainable outcomes.
*Assist with debt or payment-related processes linked to contractual agreements where necessary.


New Business / Service Implementation Support

*Support the setup and implementation of new services, contracts, or business units.
*Assist with establishing new contractual arrangements and frameworks.
*Ensure contract processes are effectively implemented during mobilisation phases.


Governance, Compliance & Professional Practice

*Maintain confidentiality in line with organisational policies and data protection requirements.
*Keep up to date with best practices in procurement, contract management, and commercial operations.
*Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and integrity in all aspects of the role.
*Commit to continuous professional development and ongoing learning.
