Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Age Range: 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & GCSE)
We are working with a large, well-regarded secondary school in Warrington seeking a committed English Teacher to join their department from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers to become part of a supportive team focused on raising attainment and driving pupil progress.
The RoleThe successful candidate will:
*Teach English across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
*Deliver a full teaching timetable, including planning, marking, and assessment
*Differentiate learning to meet pupils of varying abilities
*Monitor and report on student progress, working collaboratively within the English department
*Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school

*Easily accessible via the M62, M6, and M56, ideal for commuters from Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire
*Strong public transport connections from surrounding areas including Widnes, Runcorn, and St Helens
RequirementsApplicants must have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching English up to GCSE level
*A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
