A growing environmental consultancy is looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join its friendly and collaborative team based near Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Ecologist looking to develop their career within a well-established business delivering ecology, landscape and environmental consultancy services across a diverse range of projects.
The successful Assistant Ecologist will support a range of ecological surveys, assessments and reporting work, gaining exposure to protected species surveys, habitat assessments, biodiversity net gain projects and ecological mitigation strategies. The role offers the chance to work closely with experienced ecologists within a supportive environment that encourages professional development.

Requirements:
*Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
*Previous ecology experience through employment, placements or volunteering
*Good understanding of UK habitats and protected species
*Strong communication and report writing skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Full right to work in the UK
*Ability to travel to sites when required
*Must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Telford office
