The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Support students with varying abilities and needs, adapting teaching strategies where required
*Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing timely feedback
*Help prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature
*Contribute to a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and resilience
*Work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure all students are supported effectively
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Proven experience teaching English up to KS4
*Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse needs
*A genuine passion for education and improving outcomes for young people
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Experience in alternative provision or working with vulnerable learners is desirable but not essential
