Description
As a School Business Manager, duties will include but are not limited to:
*Manage the organisation’s financial processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
*Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
*Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
*Identify areas for cost-saving and implement effective strategies.
*Ensure the organisation’s financial health and sustainability through effective planning and monitoring.
*Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operational support.
*Lead and mentor a team to achieve departmental objectives.
*Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
*Estates and facilities management including ensuring safe, compliant, and well-maintained learning environments across multiple sites
*Maintaining robust systems and ensuring statutory obligations are met in line with health and safety standards
*Ensuring effective tendering and contract oversight
Profile
A successful School Business Manager should have:
*Proven experience in financial management including budget management and strategic financial planning
*Have a good understanding of HR processes and compliance
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
*Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
