Job Description:
Full job descriptionA well-established, FCA-regulated general insurance business on the outskirts of Bolton (Egerton) is looking for a Third Party Claims Handler to join its growing motor claims team. This is a great opportunity to build a career in insurance with fully funded CII qualifications and clear progression.
You’ll manage third-party motor claims from first notification through to settlement, working with insurers, solicitors and third parties to reach fair and timely outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
*Handling a caseload of third-party motor claims from start to finish
*Liaising with insurers, solicitors, brokers and third parties
*Assessing liability and negotiating settlements within your authority
*Keeping accurate records and meeting FCA and regulatory standards
*Delivering excellent customer service at every stage
What you’ll need:
*Some experience in claims, insurance or a customer-focused administrative role
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Good attention to detail and organisation
*A willingness to learn and study towards professional qualifications
What you’ll get:
*Salary of GBP24,150 to GBP28,000 depending on experience
*Fully funded CII qualifications and structured career progression
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising with service
