An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing Residential Property team based in Batley.
This role would suit a confident and technically capable conveyancer looking to take on additional responsibility, working closely with the Partner to support the management, development, and supervision of the conveyancing team while maintaining their own caseload.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Remortgages
*Transfers of equity
*New build transactions
*Shared ownership matters
Alongside fee-earning duties, you will assist the Partner with the day-to-day running of the department, providing guidance and support to junior members of the team and helping to ensure excellent client service standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members
*Assisting with workflow management and team supervision
*Providing technical guidance on conveyancing matters
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
*Maintaining compliance with regulatory and firm procedures
*Supporting the continued growth and success of the department
About You*Experienced Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or Solicitor
*Proven ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload
*Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
*Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Client-focused with a proactive and collaborative approach
