Colegio Balmoral Escocés is a well-established bilingual school in Querétaro, México, committed to delivering high-quality education while fostering cultural exchange. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher to join our team and share aspects of British and Scottish culture with our students.


Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an International Language Teacher, located in the Queretaro Metropolitan Area. The International English Language Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective language instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The teacher will also be involved in extracurricular activities and contribute to the development of educational programs.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who:
• We are seeking experienced English language teachers with an exceptional command of English (C2-level or equivalent). Applicants must have proven experience teaching within the UK education system
• Hold a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certification is a plus).
• Have previous teaching experience, ideally in ESL/EFL settings. (Not essential)
• Thrive in a team-oriented and multicultural school environment.
• Are adaptable, open to new experiences, and excited to engage with Mexican culture and traditions.
• Have a passion for sharing aspects of British and Scottish heritage in an inclusive and engaging way.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish language (Not essential)
