THE ROLE
Due to continued success and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Event Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of events and awards programmes across the UK and internationally.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and reporting into the Head of Events, this is a broad role where responsibilities will include:
• Managing the full lifecycle of events from concept through to onsite delivery
• Leading on venue sourcing, contracting and negotiations
• Managing supplier relationships and securing the best value across event services
• Taking ownership of event budgets, forecasting and expenditure management
• Producing detailed project plans, event schedules, briefing documents and show scripts
• Leading event operations onsite
• Showcalling live events and managing all event timings and production elements
• Overseeing AV, staging, lighting and technical production requirements
• Managing judging sessions and ensuring their smooth and professional delivery
• Coordinating international event logistics
• Supporting project allocation, resource planning and event timelines across the wider team
• Supporting the management and administration of event technology platforms and awards systems
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have proven experience working within an events agency or organiser environment. This candidate MUST have experience in managing and delivering awards ceremonies and programmes from concept through to completion.
You will be confident managing multiple complex projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should also possess excellent budgeting, supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills.
