Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: £7000 Car allowance & comprehensive benefits package
The role of Estimator - Commercial Fit Out will involve:
*Estimator position dealing with fit-out and refurbishment projects for various industries such as; leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants
*Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
*Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
*Producing formal quotations to customers
*Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
*Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
*Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
*Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
*Working on projects ranging in value up to £10m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Commercial Fit Out with
*Must have extensive estimating experience within the construction fit-out market sector
*Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
*Resilient individual
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Familiar with estimating software such as Eque2 / Evaluate or similar
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Full UK driving license
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Good team player who also works well individually
