The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You will create engaging activities, nurture curiosity, and ensure every child has the best possible start in their educational journey.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support key areas of development
*Supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
*Observing and assessing progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
*Identifying early signs of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and implementing support strategies
*Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
*Building strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents
What We’re Looking For
*A Level 2 childcare qualification (minimum) – Level 3 preferred
*Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a private nursery or primary school nursery setting
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
*Understanding of early identification of SEN and appropriate support strategies
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children’s development
*Paediatric First Aid (in-date) – desirable
*A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
