A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to make a real difference by delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, MLD, and communication difficulties.
As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
*Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Supporting pupils to achieve academic, social, and emotional progress
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff
* Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies where required
* Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
* ASAP start in a well-connected Reading location
This SEN Teacher role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT with a strong interest in special educational needs. A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach is essential.
