Microsoft Fabric Architect Contract | Outside IR35 | Hybrid – London
Duration: 6 months Day Rate: £400 per day Engagement: Outside IR35 Location: Hybrid – London (occasional office visits required) Client: UK-based end client
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to join a UK client engagement on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in designing and building modern data platform solutions using the full Microsoft Fabric stack. The role operates outside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate of £400, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model from a London base.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
*Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, and serving layers
*Design scalable, robust data platform architectures aligned to client requirements and best practices
*Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
*Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
*Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and governance standards
*Document architecture decisions and support knowledge transfer to client teams
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
*Proven hands-on experience designing and developing solutions with Microsoft Fabric
*Strong understanding of modern data platform architecture and cloud-based data engineering
*Experience with OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and related Fabric workloads
*Ability to engage directly with UK-based client stakeholders at all levels
*Self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running in a contract environment
*Comfortable with hybrid working, including occasional travel to a London office

*Day rate: £400
