Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, inspection, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems and portable fire extinguishers across commercial & industrial properties.
Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Key Responsibilities
*Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant British Standards.
*Install and commission fire alarm systems.
*Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.
*Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
*Complete service reports and certification accurately.
*Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
*Provide professional advice and support to customers.
*Participate in an on-call rota when required.
Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Requirements:
*Previous experience working with fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
*Good knowledge of BS 5839 and BS 5306 standards.
*FIA qualifications or equivalent are desirable.
*Ability to fault-find and work independently.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Familiarity with a range of manufacturers including Gent, Advanced, C-TEC, Morley, and Kentec.
