Full job descriptionWe are pleased to be working with a long-established British engineering company specializing in manufacturing custom paint finishing systems, industrial ovens, and machinery safety solutions based in Manchester that are looking to onboard an industrial electrician that will be working within Manufacturing sites, this could range from Food Manufacturing Facilities, Paint Manufacturing Plants, Tier 1 Automotive suppliers and anything in-between. This is an excellent role to move to a business that are regularly involved in innovative projects.
Industrial Electrician - Responsibilities:
*Travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.
*Carry out full electrical installations on new machinery and equipment.
*Wire, test, fault-find, repair, and commission industrial machinery.
*Work with control panels, motors, sensors, and associated industrial electrical systems.
*Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
*Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
*Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and company standards.
*Liaise professionally with customers and site personnel.
*Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Industrial Electrician - Candidate Spec:
*Qualified Industrial Electrician with experience in 3-phase industrial environments.
*Current 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
*Experience wiring and fault-finding on industrial machinery and control panels.
*Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
*Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Industrial Electrician - Package:
*Salary - £40k
