Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant – West Yorkshire£93–£105 per day | Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available
Locations: Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist settings, including:
*SEN Schools
*SEMH & Behaviour Provisions
*PMLD Settings
*Residential Care Homes
*Through Schools (Ages 2–19)
The Role:
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
*Assisting with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
*Providing personal care where required
*Working closely with teaching and support staff
Hours: Typically 8:30am–3:30pm (or equivalent)
Requirements:
*Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
*Positive, resilient and adaptable approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
*Team Teach training desirable
*Full-time desirable
*Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
