We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Eccles.
This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, communication needs, and medical requirements.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals in a safe and supportive environment. This role will include aspects of personal care and supporting students with their daily needs
The Role*Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs
*Supporting learning and development both inside and outside the classroom
*Assisting with communication, sensory, and therapeutic activities
*Supporting students with personal care, including toileting, changing, feeding, and personal hygiene where required
*Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction
*Assisting with mobility and physical support when necessary
*Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
*Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
We Are Looking For*Experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs is desirable
*A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
*Confidence supporting individuals with personal care needs
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs

*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
