As a privately owned, multi award-winning regional housebuilder, they are known for delivering distinctive residential developments where design, detail, and craftsmanship matter.
They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Construction team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple premium residential developments across Surrey, West Sussex, and Hampshire.
This is a key leadership role within a well-established and collaborative business, where quality and pride in delivery sit at the heart of everything they do.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will oversee the operational delivery of several live developments, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
*Project leadership: Define site strategy including logistics, compound planning, and critical path management, ensuring risks to programme are identified early and mitigated effectively.
*Programme delivery: Develop and manage build programmes, ensuring alignment across Construction, Commercial, and Sales teams, and resolving issues that may impact delivery.
*Quality assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure developments consistently meet our client’s exacting standards.
*Cost control: Partner with the Commercial team to monitor expenditure, manage variations, and ensure developments remain within budget.
*Health, safety and compliance: Maintain full compliance with relevant legislation and company standards, ensuring a safe and well-managed site environment.
*Leadership: Provide clear direction and support to site teams, driving performance, supporting development, and contributing to recruitment and retention across your projects.
What You’ll Bring
Our client is a design-led housebuilder with a strong focus on quality and detail. Experience of delivering high-specification residential developments is essential.
*Proven experience with a residential housebuilder, with a track record of delivering multiple high-quality housing schemes.
*Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
*Confident ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
*SMSTS qualification (essential).
*Construction-related degree or NVQ Level 5/6, or equivalent experience.
