A specialist school in Dunstable, Bedfordshire is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
The school prides itself on creating a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, and a range of learning difficulties. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential both academically and personally.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs
* Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
* Monitor progress closely and adapt teaching strategies to support student development
* Encourage emotional wellbeing, resilience, confidence, and independence in every learner

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
