CRA Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected regional law firm in the search for a Family Solicitor to join its expanding Nottingham office.
Recognised for delivering exceptional client service and practical legal advice, the firm has built a strong reputation across the region and continues to invest in the growth of its Family Law team. This appointment presents an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor seeking high-quality work, a supportive culture, and genuine long-term career progression within a forward-thinking practice.
The Role
Joining an experienced and well-regarded Family department, you will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters while benefiting from the support and expertise of a collaborative team.
The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of family law issues, providing clear, pragmatic, and empathetic guidance during what can often be challenging and sensitive circumstances. The role offers a strong level of autonomy, alongside opportunities to work alongside senior colleagues on more complex matters.
Your caseload is likely to include:
*Divorce and separation matters
*Financial settlements and remedies
*Private children disputes and arrangements
*Cohabitation and relationship disputes
*Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
*Domestic abuse matters and protective injunctions
*General family law advice and dispute resolution

About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with experience handling family law matters.
You will have the confidence to manage your own caseload while delivering a high standard of client care and maintaining strong attention to detail throughout.
The ideal candidate will possess:
*Previous experience advising on privately funded family law matters
*The ability to manage files independently and efficiently
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive issues
*Strong organisational and case management abilities
*A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team success
Experience in business development, networking, and building professional relationships would be advantageous, although not essential.
