Full job descriptionHGV Class 1 Driver – Days (Tarmac Work)


About the Role
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing Tarmac and construction site deliveries based out of Stanford-le-Hope (SS17).
This is a Monday to Friday position with regular 06:00 starts, offering consistent work with a well-known and established logistics operator. Drivers will be delivering materials to construction, infrastructure, and industrial sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
*Carry out Class 1 deliveries and collections to Tarmac, construction, and infrastructure sites.
*Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
*Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
*Comply with Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time regulations.
*Follow all site-specific health and safety requirements.
*Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records.
Requirements
*Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
*Minimum of 6 months experience on Class 1 driving experience.
*No more than 6 points.
*Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.
*Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.
*Experience working on construction or aggregate sites is beneficial but not essential.
*Mandatory PPE: Orange high-visibility clothing and a hard hat with chin strap are required for site access.
Pay Rates:
PAYE - £20.00 ph / £22.41 (holiday rolled up)
LTD - £22.00 ph
