Full job descriptionMulti-Skilled Handy Person / Maintenance Operative (Temporary)ONGOING TEMPORARY CONTRACT STARTING IMMEDIATELY!
BASED IN IVER, £15-20 PER HOUR DEPENDANT UPON EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a reliable and practical Multi-Skilled Handy Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and tackling a wide variety of maintenance tasks.
You’ll be responsible for keeping equipment and facilities running smoothly, carrying out general repairs, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out general maintenance and "odd jobs" across the site
*Perform basic plumbing tasks (water systems only, not gas), including fixing leaks and replacing fittings
*Change bearings and undertake light mechanical repairs
*Install and maintain compressed air lines from compressors
*Diagnose issues and provide practical, efficient solutions
*Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
*Must have your own tool bag and be fully self-sufficient on tools
*Practical, hands-on experience in maintenance or similar role
*Good problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude
*Ability to work independently and manage varied tasks
*Basic knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems (no gas work required)
