We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Sport & Cleaning Operative to join our team in Southend. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and safe operation of local sports grounds and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carrying out light grounds maintenance duties
*Litter picking across sports pitches and surrounding public areas
*Cleaning of public facilities, including walkways, seating areas, and amenities
*Ensuring sites remain safe, tidy, and welcoming for visitors
*Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.


What you’ll need to succeed
*Full UK driving licence (essential)
*Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
*Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Previous experience in ground maintenance or cleaning (desirable but not essential)
