Do you have experience in warehouse or machine operation?
We are currently recruiting a Machine and Warehouse Operator for a well-established organisation in Biggleswade. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely lift, move, and store goods
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
*Operate machinery including a Herbert Capstan Lathe, band saw, and other laboratory equipment
*Produce laboratory test pieces from technical drawings
*Operate forklift trucks
What We’re Looking For
*A positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic
*Forklift experience preferred (Reach or Counterbalance desirable – training provided)
*A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Benefits
*Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00, Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 (37 hours per week)
*Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum
*Christmas closure
*Uniform and safety boots provided
*On-site parking
*Pension and bonus scheme
*Sick pay after probation
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays
*Asap start
*No weekends
