HGV Class 2 Driver – Dustcart / Refuse Driver – Stevenage
Got People are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client’s team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
This position involves operating a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled refuse collection routes and providing support to loaders when necessary. It is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Class 2 driver looking to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
*Complete planned waste and recycling collection routes accurately
*Assist loaders as required to ensure smooth operations
*Adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the workday
Driver Requirements
*Minimum of 12 months recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
*Experience in dustcart or refuse collection is highly desirable
*Full UK Driving Licence (Category C)
*Valid Driver CPC qualification
*Possession of a Digital Tachograph Card
*No more than six penalty points on licence (excluding DR or IN endorsements)
*Willingness and ability to assist with loading duties when required
*Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to high standards
Pay & Details
*Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour (PAYE / Umbrella)
*Additional Saturday uplift opportunities available
*Start time: 06:00 AM
*Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
*Additional weekend work offered during bank holiday catch-up rounds
