Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a growing and highly reputable insolvency practice in Manchester to recruit an experienced Head of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing team within the personal insolvency sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially focused leader to take ownership of a team of approximately 30 sales and customer service professionals, driving performance, quality, and customer outcomes within a regulated environment.
The RoleReporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the overall management, performance and strategic direction of the sales function. The team handles inbound enquiries from individuals experiencing financial difficulties, providing information and guidance on the debt solutions available to them.
As Head of Sales, you will ensure customers receive a professional, compliant and empathetic service while delivering against business objectives and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, manage and develop a team of approximately 30 sales and customer service professionals.
*Create and implement sales strategies to maximise conversion rates and business performance.
*Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring and leadership.
*Ensure all customer interactions are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner.
*Work closely with compliance, operations and senior management teams to ensure customer outcomes remain at the forefront of all activity.
*Develop and implement training initiatives to improve individual and team performance.
*Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning.
*Oversee resource planning and workforce management.
*Produce management information and performance reports for senior stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and customer experience.
Candidate Requirements*Previous experience within the IVA/ Debt Management sector.
*Proven experience managing sales teams, ideally within a regulated financial services environment.
*Strong strategic sales leadership experience with a track record of driving performance and growth.
*Excellent coaching, mentoring and people management skills.
*Strong understanding of sales metrics, reporting and performance management.
*Commercially aware with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business objectives.
*Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
