A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential.
About the Role
*Teaching a lively and enthusiastic Year 2 class
*Long term position with the view to becoming permanent
*Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
*Supporting pupils through their KS1 SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared
*Working closely with colleagues, support staff and leadership to promote progress and wellbeing
*Creating a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
About You
*Qualified Teacher with experience teaching KS1 (Year 2 experience highly desirable)
*Confident in preparing children for KS1 SATs and raising attainment
*Passionate about delivering creative, differentiated and purposeful learning experiences
*Strong behaviour management and a commitment to high standards
*Able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
*A team player who is enthusiastic, reflective and driven
