Full-Time | Monday–Friday | £92.63–£100 per day |Start Date: ASAP
A supportive primary school in Nuneaton is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. As a result, you’ll be working closely with pupils who need additional support with communication, emotional regulation and learning routines. In addition, you’ll help create a calm, structured environment where children feel safe, understood and ready to learn each day. At the same time, you’ll be working alongside teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, nurturing support that helps pupils make steady progress. Ultimately, this role is ideal for someone who is confident, patient and passionate about supporting pupils with SEND.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting SEND learners through 1:1 and small-group work
*Helping pupils stay regulated, engaged and confident
*Assisting with communication, sensory needs and classroom routines
*Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*Working collaboratively with teachers and wider support teams
*Contributing to a warm, inclusive and structured learning environment
What We’re Looking For
*Previous SEND experience (essential)
*A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Confidence supporting primary-aged pupils
*Full-time availability, Monday–Friday
