About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled Leakage Team Leader to join their growing operations in Dundee. This is a key field-based leadership role focused on reducing water loss, improving network performance, and managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, manage, and motivate field-based leakage detection teams
*Plan and coordinate daily workloads to ensure efficient service delivery
*Identify, locate, and assess leaks using industry-standard detection equipment (e.g. acoustic loggers, correlators)
*Drive reduction in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and meet performance targets
*Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
*Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and support where required
*Liaise with repair teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timely leak resolution
*Maintain accurate records using mobile systems, GIS, and reporting tools
*Conduct site audits and ensure quality standards are consistently met
Requirements
*Proven experience in leakage detection within the water/utilities sector
*Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
*Strong knowledge of leak detection techniques and equipment
*Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams
*Good understanding of health & safety practices
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
*Full UK driving licence (essential)
