Head of Corporate Governance & Transition (Contract) Manchester- 1 Day A Week (Hybrid)
6-Month Contract
£500-£700 per day

We’re seeking a senior governance professional to step into a critical interim role, leading corporate governance and supporting a high-profile organisational transition within a public sector environment.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the Board and Executive team, ensuring strong governance, compliance and high-quality decision-making.
Key responsibilities:*Lead and enhance governance and assurance frameworks
*Advise Board, Committees and Exec on governance, risk and compliance
*Ensure robust, transparent decision-making processes
*Oversee Board operations, reporting and governance standards
*Support delivery of a major organisational transition
What we’re looking for:*Strong legal and/or finance background or experience
*Proven experience in public sector governance
*Ability to influence and challenge at senior level
*Expertise in governance, risk, compliance and assurance
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
