Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
*Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and differentiated activities.
*Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
*Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence and confidence.
*Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
*Support pupils with personal care needs where required.
*Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff, external professionals, and families.
Essential Requirements*Experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting.
*A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Desirable Requirements*Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs.
*Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
*Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and inclusive learning practices.
*Experience using visual supports, Makaton, or alternative communication methods.
