Full job descriptionWe are working exclusively with a prominent company in the nuclear sector, who is currently seeking a Risk Manager for a contract position. This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and shaping the organisation’s approach to risk tools and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:*Implementing and managing risk tools within the organisation
*Shaping and maintaining risk reporting processes
*Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management strategies
*Supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk management tools
*Providing comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring risk exposure
*Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
*Offering expert guidance on risk-related matters
*Contributing to continuous improvement of risk practices within the nuclear industry
Job Requirements:*Experience in risk and compliance management
*Hands-on experience using PRA or a comparable risk management tool/platform
*Proven capability in supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk tools
*Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
*Understanding of the nuclear industry and its specific risk challenges
*Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk management
About the Contract:*6-month initial contract
*Potential for extension based on project needs and performance
