The Opportunity
A great short-term opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead innovative people policy and project work within a collaborative People & Organisational Development team. You’ll help shape the employee experience, ensure policies are progressive and compliant, and drive improvements across people processes and services. The role is hybrid, with a Central London base preferred.
Key Responsibilities*Policy development — Review, update and embed employment policies and procedures.
*Lead and contribute to people-focused projects that enhance the employee journey.
*Provide expert advice on employment legislation and best practice.
*Benchmark policies and conduct research to ensure innovation and sector alignment.
*Develop training materials, toolkits and communications to support policy rollout.
*Analyse and streamline people processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
*Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
You’ll bring:
*HR generalist experience with strong policy development skills
*Knowledge of UK employment legislation
*Proven project management capability
*Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
*A proactive, analytical and improvement-focused mindset
