Full job descriptionCafé Manager – ASDA Living - Casnewydd £29,000 per annum | 40 hours per week
We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead the ASDA café operation in Newport. This is a hands-on role for a strong leader who can deliver excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations in a busy retail environment.
As Café Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the café, leading your team to deliver consistent standards while driving performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, supervise, and develop your catering and front-of-house team
*Ensure smooth daily operations across the café
*Manage budgets, stock, and labour to meet targets and KPIs
*Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
*Build a positive customer experience and represent the brand
*Identify opportunities to improve service and drive sales
*Support, train, and motivate your team to perform at their best
About You *Passionate about customer service
*Experience managing teams in a café, retail, or catering environment
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Able to manage financials, stock, and performance targets
*Level 2 Food Hygiene and relevant catering qualifications (desirable)
*A motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
