We’re recruiting for an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-impact public sector project based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on data-driven initiatives that support critical services and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities*Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems
*Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights
*Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
*Build and maintain data pipelines and predictive models
*Present findings clearly to support strategic decisions
Key Requirements*Proven experience working as a Data Scientist within the public sector
*Strong expertise in AI and machine learning techniques
*Proficiency in Python/R and relevant data science libraries
*Experience with data manipulation, modelling, and visualisation
*Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
Desirable*Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
*Knowledge of data governance and compliance in public sector environments
