Prospero Teaching is seeking a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to build and grow a successful education desk, working with a broad range of educational settings and placing teaching and support staff into roles where they make a genuine impact.
About the RoleAs a Recruitment Consultant within our education team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships across a variety of educational settings, while sourcing and placing high-quality candidates.
This is a varied role that combines sales, account management, and candidate delivery. Your ability to build relationships, understand client needs, and deliver results will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities include:
*Developing new and existing client relationships with schools, academies, and alternative education settings
*Sourcing, attracting, and interviewing education professionals for a variety of roles
*Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy briefing through to placement
*Advertising vacancies across job boards, social media, and internal platforms
*Meeting clients and candidates to provide a tailored, consultative service
*Managing a pipeline of supply, long-term, and permanent roles
What You’ll Need to SucceedWe are looking for someone who is motivated, resilient, and commercially focused, with a genuine interest in education recruitment.
Key attributes include:
*Previous experience in recruitment (education recruitment desirable but not essential)
*Strong sales and business development ability
*Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
*High attention to detail and understanding of compliance processes
*A proactive and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
