Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are looking for an Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving business growth on the industry-leading Restaurant and associated brands. You’ll develop a deep understanding of clients’ marketing challenges and deliver integrated media solutions that go far beyond traditional advertising, delivering impact, innovation and measurable ROI.


You will thrive on acquiring new business and growing spend with existing clients to propel Restaurant’s commercial growth, strengthening its role at the heart of the restaurant and hospitality industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and industry expert by understanding client business objectives, category dynamics, and marketing priorities, leveraging insights from our editorial brands to provide clients with data-driven recommendations.
*Selling a broad portfolio of media solutions with a consultative, solutions-led approach; spanning advertising, thought leadership and integrated digital, print and event trade marketing solutions.
*Crafting compelling tailored proposals that align with client goals and demonstrate ROI.
*Developing and executing annual and quarterly sales and business plans to achieve revenue targets and grow share of client trade marketing spend.
*Building and nurturing long-term trusted relationships to drive new business acquisition while growing existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling.
*Identifying gaps in client engagement and proactively propose innovative solutions to address unmet needs.
*Analysing campaign performance and commercial outcomes, providing clients with actionable insight and recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI.
*Proactively networking with brands, suppliers and industry operators, strengthening market presence and generating new commercial opportunities.

What You’ll Need
*Strong commercial knowledge of digital sales and account management, with the ability to manage client relationships and drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.
*Practical experience operating in a sector-based or customer-driven market, applying insight into client needs and commercial priorities to identify and deliver growth opportunities.
*Ability to develop and deliver integrated creative solutions and put together multifaceted proposals.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and relationship-building skills with excellent collaboration capability especially with internal stakeholders.
*Fantastic presentation skills to deliver persuasive, high-impact pitches.
*Commercially astute with a passion for the restaurant sector and hospitality.
*Results-orientated with the ability to demonstrate initiative, creativity, adaptability and resilience in achieving targets.
*Previous experience using CRMs is highly desirable.
*An understanding of campaign performance analytics and reporting would be highly beneficial.
*Willingness to regularly travel and attend industry events and client meetings.
