Full job descriptionTeaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a number of welcoming primary schools across the Wigan area.
There is a consistent demand for both day-to-day supply cover and longer-term teaching roles to support planned staff absences. These opportunities suit teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, as well as those looking to secure more stable or full-time roles from September 2026.
Schools in Wigan pride themselves on nurturing inclusive environments where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy their learning. We are therefore looking to introduce reliable and engaging teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 who can contribute positively to these settings.
What we’re looking for:
We are keen to connect with teachers who are proactive, adaptable, and passionate about education. Successful applicants will have:
*A strong commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
*Good working knowledge of the National Curriculum and/or EYFS Framework
*Experience teaching within UK primary schools
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs also welcome!
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
